Rental Property Management Application
The brief was to create an application that keeps track of all aspects of rental property managent - landlord, properties, leases, tenants and jobs or inspections on properties. We also had to create a payment schedule for tenants and landlords, and keep track of payment that were due or had been
made. The screenshots below demonstrate a small part of this application.
| Search Page
This is the first screen once logged in. The user is presented with a list of properties on which leases are due to expire, and properties on which inspections are due. There are options on the left to view payments, landlords etc, and a search option at tht top of the page to find a specific property.

| Property Listing Page
This page lists all of the details of a particular property. Contextual links appear to the right of each property allowing the user to view the landlord, add or view a lease, view payments etc. This contextual menu system is employed site-wide to allow the user easy navigation to the locations of the site that they need.

| Payments page
When a lease is entered, the application calculates the payment schedules for both the landlord and the tenant. This screenshot show tenant payments due on a lease, color-coded to reflect the status of the payment. Green is paid, red is overdue unpaid, and white listings aren't due as yet. Taking a payment is as easy as clicking link and filling in a short form, and receipts are available for all rents taken. The landlords payment page employs a similar method.

Add Property page
This page demonstrates how to add a property to the database - it's just like filling in any online form to make a purchase or register for a site. There's a dropdown list of landlords to choose from, and once the details are entered the property is in the database. This method applies to adding just about anything to any page on the site.
