Domain Registration
 A domain name is like registering a name for your business on the web - these are most commonly followed by a ".com", but there are many other international domain names such as ".org" for organisations, ".net" for internet related sites, ".biz" for businesses and ".info" for informational web sites. Each country also has it's own domain and the Irish domain is .ie. The UK is ".uk" or more commonly .co.uk for business sites.
Once you have registered your domain name and your web site is built, you'll need to place it on a server. A server is a computer that anybody can access by typing in the required web address. They'll then connect to the server and can view any web sites that are located on that server.
